We are proud to announce that Area Architects Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the Principal Submitting Consultant Architect for the upcoming Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia (KBRI) in Putrajaya.

This landmark development, designed by the award-winning Indonesian firm PT. Han Awal & Partners Architects, embodies a distinctive architectural expression inspired by traditional Indonesian rotan weaving patterns—translating cultural craftsmanship into a contemporary façade language.

Set to become a prestigious addition to Putrajaya’s iconic urban landscape, the project reflects a meaningful fusion of heritage, diplomacy, and modern design excellence.

We are proud to announce that our director, Associate Professor Ar Idr Dr Elina Mohd Husini was recently invited as Keynote Speaker at Diponegoro University (DU), Indonesia on 29 September 2025.

The event was held to commemorate the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, DU, 63rd Anniversary.

Dr Elina gave a lecture on Designing with Light and Naqli study: Architecture and Industrial Synergy Towards the Sustainable Life of the concept Sakinah.
