BCCK2: From Design Vision to Reality
The construction of Borneo Convention Centre Kuching 2 continues to advance, with the building’s scale, structural framework and relationship to its waterfront setting becoming increasingly evident.
At this stage, architecture moves beyond drawings and visualisations. The intended spaces, proportions and circulation begin to take physical form, shaped through careful coordination between architecture, structure, engineering, construction methodology and the realities of the site.
Designed as a contemporary extension to Borneo Convention Center Kuching events infrastructure, BCCK2 is envisioned to respond to its tropical and building environment as well as the riverfront context while establishing a distinctive architectural identity for Sarawak.
Every stage brings the project closer to becoming a meaningful civic destination, one designed not only to accommodate events, but also to contribute to the evolving architectural landscape of Kuching.
