There are too many digital locks model nowadays. We have no choice but to test in order to know whether the lock is of good quality or operations. We found many many ways that factory used to cut-cost in order to give smart lock at cheapest price.

The result is really not good.

Locks are light weight, feels like "tin kosong". Even the auto-lock also non sensor and use timer (not smart anymore)

Cheap smart lock, surely there are some area cost and material cut cost.
You cannot be so stupid to believe that RM500 locks and RM1000 are the same quality?

Many smart lock starts having problem after using some brands of battery. The problem is consistent and always happens regardless of locks model. So battery has to be the culprit.

Only use the battery recommended by experienced lock shop. Some brands, raise up the voltage in order to achieve "long life"

As common-sense, we all should know that cheap and good wont happen at the same place. For this client, the only choice he has, is to sacrifice on size and component. Below RM500 is still do-able. If he minta cheap and good smart door lock below RM300 then we have to give up. We have locks below RM300, but there are too much "cost-cutting" and unstable quality.

By only changing the tubular lever parts of his lock, we can save the cost for mortise, extra steel body and also the key cylinder parts. So in practical sense, he got a good quality digital at cheap price by only changing the lever and maintaining other parts. This is the only option if he want Cheap and Good at the same place.
