Between, not attached.

Interface House rethinks domestic extension through separation rather than addition.
A new structure is positioned alongside the existing house, forming a narrow void that allows light, air and movement to pass continuously between the two.

The project is defined not by the building, but by the space in between.

Interface House rethinks outdoor living within the tight constraints of a zero-lot bungalow in Kuala Lumpur.

Instead of extending onto the existing house, a new concrete hall is positioned 600mm alongside it, allowing distance, light, and air to become part of the architecture itself.

Here, the space in between is not leftover, but carefully designed.
