Safintra Namibia started operations in Windhoek in 2015, with a recent move to bigger premises in the bustling Lafrenz Industrial Area being a testament to the increasing need for metal roofing - Aluminium Zinc in particular, in Namibia. Safintra has since changed the face of concealed-fix roofing systems in Namibia with its Saflok concealed fix roofing system, complementing the range of existing pierced-fix profiles. Safintra also supplies a standing seam profile called Newlok, offering exceptional hold down strength on negative wind uplift, as well as a unique tile-profiled sheet called Versatile®.
Safintra forms part of the Safal Group of companies - the largest manufacturer of steel coil and roofing profile on the African continent. It is the only producer in Africa to manufacture Aluminium Zinc coated steel which is the world’s most advanced coating for corrosion resistance, enhanced service life and for thermal performance. 4 coil-coating operations in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and South Africa, produce metal-coated and pre-painted steel coils conforming to international quality specifications and world class manufacturing standards. 36 roll forming operations in 12 African countries, allowing the group to offer a highly valued advisory service with a wealth of technical expertise available.
