33 million people with degrees who cannot find work.
4 million jobs that exist right now — in construction, fashion, beauty, food service, technology — that companies cannot fill because there are no qualified, verified workers to take them.
This is not a skills shortage.
This is an infrastructure problem. Nigeria has not built the systems to connect the skill that exists to the demand that exists. No certification standards. No digital marketplace. No organised workforce community. No stage that says to a young person: your craft is a career.
