Dear Architects,

STOP OVER DESIGNING...

Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, a German-American Architect popular in the modernist movement, introduced the "LESS IS MORE" design philosophy, emphasizing a structure's beauty through functionality and comfort.

In the contemporary context, numerous architects, in their eagerness to showcase expertise, tend to excessively design or over design.

Upon encountering this image, I pondered the intentions of the designer or architect. Placing an unroofed balcony at a building's edge, with no access points, left me questioning its purpose.

Considering the space beneath, a roof below would have been a practical addition, rendering the balcony useful. Architects Should think thoroughly before, during and after the design process.

Remember, perfection may be elusive, infact everyone loves perfection but thoughtful consideration throughout the design stages is imperative.

I appraise this building at 4/10 without reservation.
