I used to act in films, playing different roles. But I walked away because I found something deeper—something that fills my heart every single day.

Acting gave me fame, but agriculture gave me fulfilment. The film industry couldn’t sustain me for long. But farming—planting yam, raising chickens, growing ginger, pepper, and cereals—has given me more than I ever dreamed of. It feeds my soul, not just my stomach.

I went into farming because I wanted to fight hunger, not only in my home but in my community. And now, I see agriculture not just as a job but as the future of our nation. It’s the one way we can build wealth without waiting for handouts. The soil rewards hard work. It never cheats.

So, to every young person, I say: don’t be ashamed to get your hands dirty. Farming is not old-fashioned. It’s powerful. It’s freedom. It’s how we grow ourselves and our country—one harvest at a time.
