Osun election is a litmus test for how next year’s election is going to look.

The opposition needs to buckle up and match the madness of the ruling party.

Because, whether we like it or not, ruggedity for ruggedity, fire for fire, money for money — that may be what it takes to unseat a ruling party that has mastered the game.

The will of the masses alone is never enough to win an election in this country. We all know that mandates can be stolen, manipulated or frustrated.

So if you truly believe you have the people behind you, you must be ready to protect that mandate at all cost.

Election is not won by goodwill alone.
It is won by strategy, structure, resources, vigilance and the ability to defend every vote.

Osun may be more than just an election. It may be a preview of 2027.

MY TAKE ON THE P-SQUARE FAMILY FEUD

From all the explanations and interviews shared by both parties, one thing seems constant. Although Paul and Jude have not fully responded to every allegation Peter made, some of the videos and body language shared by Peter suggest that the family issues may have started around the time he began dating Lola, and things reportedly became worse when she became pregnant.

If what Peter said about how his wife was treated is true, then Nigeria truly needs a revival in the way we see one another.

How can anyone hate or reject another person simply because they come from a different tribe or region?

Sadly, this mentality still exists today. To some people, once you're not from their tribe, you're treated like an outsider or even less than human. This has to stop. Before we became Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Ebira, Tiv, Idoma, okun, or any other tribe, we were first human beings, created by God.

This topic reminds me of a personal experience.

While I was in school, I met a lady named Jovita from Enugu. We developed feelings for each other. Whenever I asked her out, she would decline. One day, I asked her why, because I could clearly see that the feelings were mutual. She admitted that she loved me, but said her parents insisted that she must marry someone from the East, preferably from Enugu.

I was shocked. It felt like something I had only seen in movies.

Why should a person's tribe matter more than their character?

The Bible's standard for marriage is built on faith, love, responsibility, and godly character—not tribe. If someone is responsible, hardworking, and fears God, why should their state of origin become a barrier?

Sometimes it seems that those who insist on marrying only within their tribe would rather choose a devil from their own tribe than an angel from another. They assume everyone from their tribe is good, while others are not. That mindset only divides us and holds us back as a nation.

Let's judge people by their values, integrity, and the content of their character—not by where they come from.

Nigeria is stronger when we embrace one another.

My kindly advice to omoyele sowore a fearless personality

Not every viral issue requires your involvement. There are some controversies that a leader should simply avoid.

On the Tyla issue, I didn't expect you to take a position that goes against what many Nigerians think. As a leader, it's important to understand the mood and concerns of the people you hope to represent.

Trying to be controversial on every trending topic doesn't necessarily make you stronger or more relevant. Sometimes, restraint is a sign of wisdom and leadership.

You don't have to comment on every viral or controversial issue. Focus on the issues that truly affect Nigerians. Constant involvement in every online debate may end up hurting your public image rather than helping it.

Take it the way it is.

As the founder of eyeofabuja, I am thrilled that my vision for the platform is materializing, and it has been positively impacting the city over the past year on Facebook. Numerous individuals have secured employment opportunities through our platform, while various organizations have found dedicated staff. Moreover, residents of Abuja are better informed about local events and developments in the city and the Federal Capital Territory. We are pleased to announce that we will continue to excel in our area of expertise. Our aspiration extends beyond merely keeping the city informed; we aim to engage more closely with the residents of Abuja and the FCT through in-depth interviews and spotlighting neglected communities that often go unreported by mainstream media. eyeofabuja harbors a larger ambition than just disseminating information; we plan to evolve into a media platform that amplifies the voices of the voiceless to the government, ensuring their concerns are heard.
