THE FIRE MUST NOT GO OUT
π βThe fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.β β Leviticus 6:13
Every man that walks with God carries an altar β not built with stones, but with surrender. Itβs the meeting point between your spirit and your Maker. On that altar, something must always burn, because fire is the language of heaven.
In the days of Moses, God commanded the priests to keep the fire burning day and night. The altar was not allowed to go cold, no matter the weather or the season. That fire represented the presence of God among His people. But hear this β the same instruction has come to us: βLet the fire on your altar never go out.β
Today, that altar is your heart, and you are the priest in charge of it.
But look around β how many hearts still burn?
How many still tremble when the name of Jesus is mentioned?
How many still rise at midnight to pray, not for blessings, but to stay connected to the flame?
Many have allowed the fire to go out. The altar has become cold, silent, and forgotten. We still attend church, we still raise our hands, but the fire is gone. We have mastered religion without the heat of revival.
Listen, child of God β the world does not need more preachers; it needs burning men. Men who carry the presence of God like fire in their bones. Men whose words ignite conviction and whose prayers open heavens.
π₯ Revival doesnβt begin in a crowd; it begins in one heart that refuses to grow cold.
If you will keep your altar burning, the fire will spread.
The devil fears a believer whose altar is alive.
To keep the fire burning, you must feed it. Prayer is the wood, the Word is the oil, and worship is the wind. Every time you pray sincerely, you add wood. Every time you meditate on the Word, you pour oil. Every time you worship, the wind fans the flame higher.
Do not wait for Sunday to burn. Do not depend on your pastor to keep your altar alive. Take responsibility for your flame! The fire must not go out β not in your secret place, not in your heart, not in your generation.
π₯ A cold altar means a silent heaven.
π₯ A burning altar means God is still with you.
So tonight, wherever you are, lift your voice and say:
> βLord, set me on fire again! Let my altar burn day and night!
I donβt want to be ordinary; I want to carry Your flame until the nations see Your light through me.β
π₯ PRAYER:
> Father, forgive me for letting my altar grow cold.
I receive fresh fire from Your Spirit.
Let my heart burn until Your will becomes my passion.
Keep me aflame until the world around me catches fire. Amen.
