Another Successful Solar Installation! ☀️🔋

Another project successfully delivered and this one was extra special because my twin brother and I worked side by side to bring it to life! 👬⚡

Yesterday, we completed a 4kW hybrid solar installation in Mowe, consisting of:

🔹 4kW Hybrid Inverter
🔹 2 Tubular Batteries
🔹 6 × 480W Solar Panels

The best part? Teamwork made it seamless.

While I handled the rooftop PV installation, my twin brother took charge of the electrical wiring, inverter connections, and system integration.

Working together, we completed the installation in less than 2 hours, carried out all necessary tests, confirmed the system was operating properly, and successfully commissioned it for the client. ✅

The client was genuinely excited to see twins working together on her solar project! Her excitement, appreciation, and the prayer she offered for us during the installation made the experience even more memorable. 🙏

For us, it wasn't just another installation it was a reminder that great results come from teamwork, proper planning, technical expertise, and attention to detail.

Grateful to God for another successful project and another satisfied customer. 🙏☀️

⚠️ Safety Must Always Come Before Installation!

This video highlights an extremely dangerous rooftop working condition that should never be considered acceptable in solar installation.

A solar installer is seen climbing a steep, rain-soaked metal roof without the basic PPE and fall-protection systems required for safe work at height.

🚨 Key hazards include:
• No fall protection — no harness, lifeline, roof anchors, or guardrails.
• Extreme slip risk — wet metal roofing can become dangerously slippery.
• Adverse weather conditions — rain significantly increases the risk of slips, falls, and electrical hazards.
• Unsafe roof access — climbing directly on wet roof sheets is not a safe alternative to properly secured access equipment.

✅ What should be done?
• Stop rooftop work during rain or when surfaces are wet.
• Use an appropriate fall-arrest system: harness, shock-absorbing lanyard, lifeline, and suitable roof anchors.
• Wear a safety helmet and suitable non-slip footwear.
• Use properly secured ladders or approved access systems.
• Conduct a proper risk assessment before starting work at height.

As solar professionals, our responsibility goes beyond installing panels and commissioning systems. We must ensure that everyone goes home safely at the end of the job.

🔧 Hands-On with the Solis S6-EH1P8K-L-PLUS 8kW Hybrid Inverter

Today, I unboxed the Solis S6-EH1P8K-L-PLUS 8kW Hybrid Inverter as part of my continuous learning and technical development.

The goal was to get familiar with the inverter’s home screen, system settings, battery communication, Wi-Fi connectivity, monitoring features, and configuration options.

For me, working in the solar industry is not just about installing equipment—it’s about understanding the technology behind every system and staying up to date with the latest solutions.

Every unboxing, configuration, and hands-on session is another opportunity to improve my knowledge and deliver better solar solutions in the field. ⚡☀️
