PROJECT AXIS

Designed for a young, middle-aged family, Project Axis explores the balance between permanence and play.

The architecture never raises its voice.
It speaks softly through curves, generous overhangs, deep shadows and carefully framed openings—softening the mass while giving the home a strong presence.

Here, the architecture quietly steps aside and lets life take centre stage—creating spaces where ordinary Mondays can slowly become extraordinary memories.

PROJECT: THE DANFO THAT STAYED
An office that doesn’t feel like an office.

After years away, our client came back home with a simple request:
“I want somewhere I can work… and still have fun.”

So we asked ourselves—what does an office look like when the workday doesn’t have to feel like a workday?

The answer became a house of contrasts.

Brick against concrete.
Work against play.
The familiar against the unexpected.

And then there was the Danfo.

Not the one rushing through Lagos traffic.
Not the one you’re fighting to catch before it leaves.

This one doesn’t move.

We gave an old Nigerian icon a new job—to become the compound’s outdoor servery, serving food and drinks to the spaces around it.

A little bit of Lagos nostalgia, parked right beside a contemporary workspace.

Because sometimes, coming home isn’t about leaving everything behind.

It’s about finding a new way to bring it with you.
