*LIFE TIP*
Is friendship worth the risk?
At some point in a relationship, one person has to suggest a one-on-one activity to move the friendship to the next level. This causes a lot of nervousness. We worry weβll be rejected. Typically, this wonβt happen but humans are very averse to social rejection.
Perhaps we need to look at it as a risk vs. reward equation. The risk is a few hours of hurt feelings, but the reward is potentially a life-long friend. Remember that all humans are hardwired to desire connection, not just you. The potential friend would also likely benefit from more connection. Is the reward worth the risk to you?
