Site visits are where a design gets tested against reality.

Today our team walked the space to check every detail, because small decisions made, now shape how the space feels for years.

Every junction, finish, and measurement matters when people will be working here every day.
We are proud of the progress so far, and there is more to come.
Stay tuned.

Inside the Hapag-Lloyd office: a workspace designed around two distinct divisions, the National Team and the Area Team, each with their own private office suites, dedicated meeting rooms, and reception areas.

At the center, shared spaces like a modern café and a wellness suite (with a mother's room and sick bay) bring the teams together without blurring the structure each one needs.

Clean circulation routes, neutral palettes, and refined finishes reflect the precision and efficiency that define Hapag-Lloyd's global operations.

This is a workplace built for privacy and collaboration in equal measure, and it moves the same way the business does.

Micdee did this.

A design is a promise. It tells our clients what their space will look and feel like, and how it will support the people who use it every day.
This is why Michael Awonowo, our founder, is on site. He goes through the space in person, compares the work with the approved design, and talks with the team about every detail that matters.

Site visits are where a design becomes a real environment, and where we confirm that the promise has been kept.

Behind every Micdee project is a team of people who think, plan, and problem-solve together.

This retreat gave the Project team the time to do that outside the usual rhythm of deadlines and site visits. They learned from one another, practiced new approaches, played games that brought out everyone's competitive side, and had honest conversations that do not always fit into a regular workday.

The result was a team that understands each other a little better. Here is a look behind the scenes at the Project team Retreat.

Our work starts with people, and Nigeria's greatest strength has always been its people.

At 66, there is still so much left to build, and we are looking forward to creating spaces that help Nigerian teams and businesses grow.

Happy Independence Day from all of us at Micdee. 🇳🇬

POV: it's Monday and this team is already in sync.

Ideas being tossed around, sketches passing hands, decisions made together, and there's also always time for a good laugh.

The best part of any Micdee space? The people who dream it up. 🤍

The office is no longer just a place where work happens. It has become a place where a brand is truly experienced.
Nigeria's most forward-thinking organisations have stopped briefing for a place to work, and they are now briefing for a place that does a job for their business.
We call this an experience centre: a space that does not simply house a team, but tells a story and makes a brand felt.

From the Nigeria LNG Innovation and Experience Centre, complete with a hologram table and a VR room, to the Piggyvest Customer Experience Centre, to Maxitech's headquarters where the retail floor and the workspace flow seamlessly into one another, this is where workplace strategy meets brand storytelling.

Swipe through one of our insights piece to see what actually makes an experience centre work. The link is in our bio.

Where decisions take shape.
This boardroom at Hapag-Lloyd was designed to support focus, clarity, and collaboration from the moment people walk in.

Every element, from the seating arrangement to the lighting, was chosen with intention to help teams think clearly and communicate without distraction.
It's a reminder that the room people meet in, shapes how well they work together, and how well they work together shapes what they build.

A new vision is taking shape, and every detail is being brought to life with intention, care, and purpose.
From the first walkthrough to the final finish, we're pouring thought into every element of this space.

Stay connected as the story unfolds.

Hapag-Lloyd moves the world through precision, reliability, and innovation, and we wanted their workplace to reflect that same spirit.
Step into a space where clean lines guide you through the office, refined textures soften every corner, and a neutral palette keeps everything feeling calm yet dynamic.
The result is an environment that supports the way people work, while quietly reflecting the brand behind it.
