Good morning, good afternoon and good evening, based on whenever this massage is reaching you, I humbly greet you all
It behooves me to seize this moment to speak on the planed PROTEST of 1st - 10th of August 2024 I deem it necessary for the interest of my innocent brothers and friends, to remind us that though we live in a time of our nations history when it seems like the dividend of democracy and most of the better functionalities of governance have eluded our society on every side, it is natural to fear for the future and to nurse anxiety about what our tomorrow will be, but someone most substitute caution for bravery and someone most have Sense enough to lead men and women to the mountain top through the right track.
Let us recall the END SARS protest: this was one exercise of GOOD WILL and VALUE of recent time but because of lack of caution, no effective leadership of the innocent Youths involved, lack of proper orientation our collective enemies hijacked the exercise and we all saw the out come of how many lives of promising Youths where lost, while it could have been controlled.
Nevertheless, the not too young to run campaign which expands opportunities for political inclusion of young Nigerians is another chapter of the same event but a sterling example of how dedicated Youth advocacy initiated and sort through a key piece of political reform, working through the system lawfully can be. Truth be told going forward, this is a crystal evidence of what can happen when Nigerians constructively and lawfully make common calls.
So my dear people of value my point here is simple and clear, with no doubt there is no enough constructive info and leadership at the moment to guide the PLANED PROTEST even though it's the civic right of the people. I suggest to Nigerians more especially the Youths to for go the PROTEST for now. ❤️ U all
