The new school year has officially started and the streets are busy again. Next school year, a helmet mandate for e-bikes will apply to everyone under 18 in the Netherlands.

It’ll take some getting used to, but people used to ski or ride a scooter without a helmet too. Now, you can’t even imagine doing that without one.
