Our Story
Lifeboat Import Amsterdam is a company specialised in rebuilding second hand or used lifeboats. We import these lifeboats from all around the world. At our workplace in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, we transform them into luxury boats that are suitable for the Dutch or European waters. We do this in an environmentally friendly and social responsible way. We already succesfully gave a l
ot of lifeboats a ‘second life’. We would like to give every used lifeboat across the world a new life for leisure purposes in the Netherlands as well as everywhere else. We rebuild every ship we buy using skilled people in our workshop in Amsterdam according to the customers needs and wishes. Rebuilding of the boats happens in the most environmentally friendly way as possible. The boats are being dismantled and a lot of parts are reused, or collected seperately and removed where it can be processed in the right way. We are also experienced in replacing old diesel engines with emission-free electric engines. Lifeboat Import Amsterdam has set up a social project called "Sloepenproject Amsterdam". An initiative, together with the city of Amsterdam, where we help people in need, in a learning environment to explore and enrich themselves. Our Mission
