A basket full of nasturtium flowers, a walk to the Groundfridge and a recipe worth saving.
This homemade nasturtium hot sauce combines edible flowers, garlic, chilli and apple cider vinegar into a fresh, spicy condiment thatโs easy to make and keeps beautifully.
Hereโs what youโll need:
๐ผ 100 nasturtium flowers

๐ถ๏ธ 2 chillies
๐ 1.5 litres apple cider vinegar
Method
1. Wash the nasturtium flowers and place them in a sterilised jar.
2. Peel and slice the garlic, then add it to the jar.
3. Slice the chillies in half and add them.
4. Fill the jar with apple cider vinegar.
5. Close the lid and give it a good shake.
6. Store in a cool, dark place for one week. Then strain through a fine sieve lined with kitchen paper and pour into sterilised bottles.
