For NYE, step out of 2025 Amsterdam and into 1980 Paris at Le Palace.

New Year's Eve is almost here, and we are pleased to announce one of our mainstage acts: Gruppo Direccione.

Featuring the best drummer in the Netherlands, Cyril Directie, Gruppo Direccione will be bringing our energy to a whole new level. The lines between black and white will blur with the vocals of Maartje Keijzer, the guitar of Ullrich de Jesus, the keyboard of Jordi Kalfsvel, and the bass guitar of Xander Vrienten.

Dress code: Complete black and white. It must be 1980s chic. It must be Le Palace. It must be avant-garde. It could be your interpretation of a tuxedo or something even bolder in black and white.

Catch Austin in his finest moment, as he seductively dances in front of a three lady strong team of fembots (who may or may not explode), provided by the always excellent Schoon Vertier.

Let us introduce you to… Dr. Evil! Archenemy of Austin Powers and the main villain of the series, Dr. Evil is a hilarious parody of the typical Bond enemy, with his bald head and obsession with world domination. He has a distinctive voice and often says “Riiiiight” in a sarcastic manner. His plans are often absurd and usually fail due to his own stupidity. Choose Dr. Evil as your character if you will, but be aware of the serious consequences.

This December 31st, during Austin Powers Groovy NYE, we will recreate this roller disco dance floor full of glitter and glamour in our shagadelic Electric Pussycat Club.
