Woningbouw in herstructureringsgebieden, woonzorgcomplexen en haalbaarheidsstudies vormen een belangrijk onderdeel van ons werk. Omdat wij op verschillende schaalniveaus tegelijk kunnen werken, worden wij vaak gevraagd om in een project niet alleen als architect, maar ook als stedenbouwkundige te fungeren. Een goede samenwerking met de opdrachtgever staat bij ons altijd voorop. Graag betrekken wij

in een vroeg stadium alle partijen bij het ontwerpproces. We zijn er van overtuigd dat het communiceren met alle betrokkenen essentieel is om tot een goed resultaat te komen. In dit proces spelen wij als architect graag een actieve en inspirerende rol.

We are currently working on a new neighborhood of Gemeente Lansingerland called Waterwijk, for client VolkerWessels Vastgoed and (OCW).

The project consists of 515 sustainable single-family homes and apartments, of which 168 designed by Steenhuis Bukman Architects, including 80 social housing apartments for housing association .lansingerland
Construction by contractor Kroon & de Koning

Working together with our colleague architects of KuiperCompagnons and 4D architecten the scheme will form a varied and sustainable new neighborhood.

Spetterend Wonen in Waterwijk

Our Zeeheldenbuurt development has been officially completed.

The blocks are arranged around a new, climate-adaptive little park; 64 apartments and 36 wooden single-family houses in the first postwar neighborhood of Barendrecht.

The next step of our exotic project on the beautiful island Texel, Waddenzee.

An accommodation for staff working in a beach club, combined with storage space in a small-scale wooden building.

We are currently working on 3 apartment blocks in Schiebroek-Zuid, Rotterdam. The buildings will replace outdated single-family and duplex homes and contain 132 (social) rental apartments, which significantly increases the density of the neighbourhood.

A 12-storey tower block, with a community centre at ground level, will give Wilgenplaslaan greater significance as an urban street.

Together with our renovation project of 294 dwellings, the project is the final phase of the first quarter of postwar Schiebroek reconstruction.

The project consists of 2 blocks of 34 apartments, 24 of which are social housing units (Maasdelta Groep), 27 single-family homes, retail and a Jumbo supermarket.
