Beckeringh

Arising from Groningen comes Anton Beckeringh, under the alias of Beckeringh. Melody and harmony are very important to this DJ/producer, and these things are recognizable in both his music and his sets. They're often filled with the dreaminess of melodic house and techno but coming to you at a steady pace with strong and dance worthy rhythms. We are expecting him to give us just that coming Friday!
The future is looking good now that his first release in 2022 already receives support from well-respected artists! This young gun is ready for more, and we are very happy to have him (again) behind the decks of Graanrave x Plotsklaps!

Werkhoven

Werkhoven grew up in a musical family. His father was a big-time music collector, and his uncle played in a funk band. Being inspired by this, he embarked on his own musical journey and developed his own characteristic groovy house sound with lots of energy involved.

He got his first professional gigs in a club formerly known as Subsonic, in Groningen. When this closed, he started his own concept with friends named Plotsklaps. With this concept, he got the opportunity to play a lot in Groningen and the rest of the Netherlands. He played alongside artists like Ben Sims, Sandeep, Hollt, Man With No Shadow, and De Sluwe Vos.

When life came to a standstill due to corona, he has not been idle with his friends and created a festival known as Wildfield, where he is both organizer and booker. This festival is still going strong, but it was also time to shake up the city of Groningen again!

Trouvano

"Trouvano" comes from a French word: trouvaille [troo-vee]. It translates to something like "a lucky find", which this Groningen-based DJ aspires to be for every person that doesn't know him yet!

Through careful crate digging and stumbling on his own "lucky finds", he fills the dance floors with warm grooves, and you can expect no less on the 5th of May! Being a Plotsklaps resident, he is more than excited to bring back that rolling house sound that we've come to love over the years. When the sun has set on Friday, it is his time to shine!"

Doornroosje

Doornroosje is a creative artist based in Groningen. Making, playing and moving to music have always been her favorite ways to spend time, developing this passion through dance and various instruments. Five years ago she started spinning records, discovering the world of electronic music. With residencies at various restaurants and event organizations in Groningen, her collection now varies from progressive house and melodic techno to minimal deep house and funky synthwave, electro and trance, arming herself with a wide variety of colors amongst the electronic music spectrum. Prepare for musical constructions that will make you dance your head off.

Woden

An old acquaintance is back!

He played at our Live-concept 4 years ago (!), but now he is back for Plotsklaps x Graanrave!

You can find Woden on a weekly basis behind the decks in town and on the 5th of May he will grab you with his characteristic groovy house sounds with a whiff of his other love: disco (beer is another love as the picture reveals)

Pragma

The first DJ we would like to introduce is Jarno Jellesma, known by his stage name Pragma. He developed a passion for electronic music from an early age while studying in Groningen. He was exposed to a diverse range of styles and sounds, but it was techno that truly captured his imagination.
Renowned for his high-energy sets that blend deep, hypnotic grooves with uplifting melodies, Pragma has performed at numerous events and radio shows, including Graanrave, UFO Amsterdam, House of Chupitos, and OOG Radio.
Alongside his growing DJing career, Pragma began producing music at a young age, honing his skills in the studio and experimenting with different sounds and textures to craft tracks that are specifically designed to suit the dynamic and energetic vibe of the techno scene.
