LOLA landscape architects zoekt een Finance & Operations Coördinator

Wij zijn het landschapsarchitectenbureau achter o.a. Feyenoord City, Bajeskwartier en de adidas World Campus. Met een team van 40 ontwerpers en architecten werken we dagelijks aan ambitieuze projecten in binnen- en buitenland.

Om dat goed te laten draaien zoeken we een finance-allrounder die de cijfers scherp houdt én actief meedenkt over de bedrijfsvoering. Je houdt het overzicht, zodat LOLA aan mooie landschappen kan blijven bouwen.

🌳 Wat je doet: Crediteuren- & debiteurenadministratie, liquiditeitsbewaking, financiële rapportages, contractmanagement - en je geeft leiding aan een administratief medewerker.

🌳 Wat je meebrengt: HBO+, 4–8 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie, een scherp oog voor cijfers, en je voelt je thuis in een creatief en internationaal team.

The new public space at Schiehoofd Rotterdam is open!

The terrace of Het Veerhuis Rotterdam and the public space at Schiehoofd have reopend after a major transformation. Designed by LOLA landscape architects, this renewed public space makes the Schiemond quay greener, more welcoming, and easier to access.

Surrounded by Bar Schiemond, a bakery, coffee spot, the Schiehavenhallen, and De Kroon with its creative workspaces, the public space offers an open and relaxing setting amid the energy and creativity of the area. At the center, the writers’ house Veerhuis serves as a focal point within this lively district.

The design reconnects the area with the river Maas and the adjacent harbor, dividing the site into three distinctive outdoor spaces linked by a continuous walking path. With its quayside inspired paving, the space invites you to wander, watch boats pass by, or simply relax with a good book by the water.

A new place to slow down and enjoy the river.

LOLA landscape architects leads the landscape framework for the Marvila Masterplan, a large-scale urban regeneration project on Lisbon’s eastern riverfront. Developed with OODA, MVRDV and Thornton Tomasetti, the plan covers roughly 28 hectares between Marvila and Beato. It converts a fragmented, infrastructure-heavy industrial area with little public space into a coherent, resilient urban district. Recently approved by Lisbon City Council, the masterplan defines a long-term structure designed to evolve over time.

LOLA’s approach embeds climate adaptation and ecological performance from the outset. Water is retained, slowed and reused through planted basins and permeable systems operating across scales. Diverse planting strategies enhance biodiversity, seasonal change and resilience. The project will deliver housing, public amenities and commercial programs, demonstrating landscape as a connective urban system shaping Lisbon’s resilient future for generations ahead.

At the head of Cascadepark in Almere, MARK is a landscape focused residential development entering its final construction phase. LOLA landscape architectss designed an accessible wetland on top of the parking deck as well as on the rooftops, merging the site with its surroundings. The complex consists of two 30 meter residential towers and a sunken parking deck, together forming a place where architecture, landscape, and ecology are inseparably interwoven.

MARK fits seamlessly into its setting, as if it has always existed. A distinctive mix inspired by the Oostvaardersplassen, Pampushout, and Cascadepark creates a mature natural landscape atop the parking deck. This wetland, with water, reed banks, and decking paths, blends MARK into its surroundings while enriching Cascadepark for residents, visitors, plants, birds, and insects. Circular planters, irrigation systems, and layered planting pull the landscape upward, while over 80% of the landscape will be publicly accessible.

Het team BURA-LOLA landscape architects-Goudappel is door de Gemeente Haarlem geselecteerd voor het maken van het Programma van Eisen voor de Leefomgeving, Stedenbouwkundig Plan en het Schetsontwerp Openbare Ruimte van het Stationsgebied Haarlem.

Doel van het project is de realisatie van een goed functionerend OV-knooppunt, aantrekkelijke stationsomgeving, en een wervende entree tot de stad. Een gebied waar wordt gereisd, verbleven, gewoond en gewerkt, dit gecombineerd met het borgen van de kwaliteiten van het rijksmonumentale station, het beschermde stadsgezicht, en een zorgvuldige inpassing in de morfologie van de historische binnenstad.

The team BURA-LOLA landscape architects-Goudappel has been selected by the Gemeente Haarlem to develop the Environmental Requirements Program, the Urban Development Plan, and the Preliminary Design for Public Spaces in the Haarlem Station Area.

The goal of the project is to create a well-functioning public transportation hub, an attractive station area, and an inviting entrance to the city. An area where people travel, stay, live, and work, combined with preserving the qualities of the nationally designated historic station, the protected cityscape, and a careful integration into the morphology of the historic city center.

On January 19, China Resources Land held its third High-Quality Conference and Outstanding Product Awards Ceremony in Shenzhen, themed 'Shaping the Future'. LOLA landscape architects has been honored with the 'High-Quality Design Award' for its Haitang River Park Phase II design.

Rooted in principles of ecology, water management, and microclimatic design, this landscape goes beyond traditional public space.

The park offers a layered experience through shaded walking routes, interactive environmental elements, and sensory gardens that encourage meaningful engagement with nature. Together, these components form a resilient and thriving ecosystem—enhancing biodiversity while strengthening the city’s capacity to adapt to the challenges of a changing climate.

Taking the Zaan polder landscape to greater heights. At the heart of De Zaanse Helden residential district is nature‑inclusive, climate‑adaptive rooftop landscape, created by LOLA landscape architects in collaboration with Deltavormgroep. This green space lies like a ‘landscape archipelago’ on top of the parking and acts as a connecting element between the residential buildings. The design offers a rich mosaic of planting, places to dwell, and routes inspired by the waterways and long, narrow plots of the traditional agricultural landscape.

The rooftop garden of De Zaanse Helden is conceived as an ‘ecological incubator’: biodiverse, green, and nature‑inclusive. Nesting boxes, native planting, and natural play elements bring residents closer to nature. A special feature is the wooden tower designed specifically for birds and insects, particularly the barn swallow. Numerous nesting boxes have also been integrated into the façades of the buildings.

Architectenweb heeft deze maand twee mooie long reads gepubliceerd over Merwede, Nederland grootste autovrije wijk. Deze keer is het landschap aan de b***t.

Sinds 2022 werkt LOLA landscape architects aan het ontwerp van de openbare ruimte. Met ons maximaal groene ontwerp verbinden we alle verschillende projecten in Merwede met elkaar, en met de rest van Utrecht.
