🏗️ How do you efficiently remove more than 200 bags of construction waste from a protected building – without the workers having to leave the floor?
HENT is carrying out the interior demolition phase at the former Deichmanske hovedbibliotek – Oslo’s former main public library.
♻️ To move construction waste out of the building, HENT has been using Liftroller Wall. More than 200 iSekker waste bags have already been removed using the system.
The bags are attached to the crane hook inside the building and rolled out through the opening. The crane takes over outside, while the workers can continue working on the floor. 👷
HENT says this has been an efficient way to remove construction waste from the building. 🙌
And the rollers go both ways ↔️ Liftroller has also been used to bring a demolition robot and scissor lifts into the building.
For a protected building like this, another important advantage is that Liftroller Wall can be installed in an existing opening – without making alterations to the protected façade. 🏛️
🙌 Thank you to HENT for letting us share their experience from Deich!
