REFRAME is an architectural practice that focuses on innovative problem solving based on existing premises, by focusing on simple and effective alternatives. The approach is based on IDEO method : Design Thinking and Human Centered Design. Tabacaru (owner and one man show for the time being) has worked with processes in building industry during his 12 years of practice and meanwhile has taken his
coach certification in Design Thinking. During the last years Daniel has worked for and with with Sweco Norge Saunders Arkitekter, Link Arkitektur, Cubus Arkitekter, EN til EN arkitekter Hille Melbye Arkitekter, HENT, Olav Thon Gruppen, Nordisk Film,a nd many more . The changes that we face as a society require a re-framing of the brief, and looking for innovative solutions based on a strict budget and deadlines. Daniel has worked along time in different architectural and engineering companies, from house extensions to apartments, offices and urban planning. That broad experience gives him a solid understanding of the requirements but also the importance of the cross-disciplinary approach early in the process. For the time being the office is working on different scale projects from cabins and houses to hotel refurbishments. The office has a wide network of collaborators (architects, urban planners and engineers) and therefore we can scale up according to the time frame and complexity required by the project.
