I have no home.

The band is called Один в каное / Odyn v Kanoe, which roughly means “One in a canoe.” They are from Lviv, Ukraine, and were formed around 2010. The vocalist is Iryna Shvaidak.

The song is about longing for home, while at the same time knowing that home is not just a place you can go to. Sometimes home is something you have lost, something you are searching for, or something you carry inside without ever fully finding peace in it.

After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, many people have lost their home, their house, and their voice. On the run in their own lives. Longing for something they can no longer return to.

It is a real pleasure to deliver a brand new instrument like this to Ringsakeroperaen / Ringsaker Municipality. A piano like this is built for many years of active use, and will hopefully become part of a great deal of music-making in the years ahead. , , , k500,

Klevfos Industrial Museum is a unique piece of Norwegian industrial heritage, where a complete paper factory from the 19th century has been preserved almost exactly as it was when it closed in 1976.
