Inside Brdr. Krüger’s newly reimagined Copenhagen showroom:

recently reopened its historic showroom at Bredgade 28 in collaboration with and designer .nathalie.schwer.

Rather than functioning as a traditional showroom, the space unfolds as a series of sequenced interiors shaped by materiality, craftsmanship and atmosphere. Darker wood tones, textured surfaces and architectural room dividers introduce a warmer and more residential expression.

Alongside the bespoke kitchen by , the space brings together contributions from , , , , and shaping it into a layered and quietly immersive space. A must visit during the upcoming in June.

On a small island in northern Norway, sits carefully perched along the edge of the rugged coastline.

Originally a trading post, the site has been redeveloped to host a series of cabins designed by . Extending directly into the sea, the floor to ceiling glass structures frame the shifting landscape beyond, where light, weather and seasons become part of the experience.

Nothing here competes with its surroundings. The architecture is simply there to give you shelter, so you can fully immerse yourself in the moment.

A place to add to your list for when you need a reset and to experience the world at a slower pace.

The Shoreline Studio by // Conceived as a place of withdrawal, this atelier is designed for uninterrupted focus.

Set within the coastal landscape of Odsherred, the structure draws on Danish building traditions while quietly referencing a Japanese spatial sensibility. Thatch, brick, and reclaimed timber create a restrained material palette that softens and deepens over time.

Inside, filtered light, framed views, and tactile surfaces shape a calm, almost contemplative atmosphere where architecture recedes and the surrounding nature becomes the primary experience // Photo by &

The restaurant scene in Scandinavia has never been more intriguing.

A new wave of dining is placing as much emphasis on setting and spatial experience as on the food itself. Restaurants are increasingly defined by how they sit in the landscape and relate to their surroundings, with architecture and interiors shaping the experience from the moment you arrive. From floating abstract structures and submerged concrete elements, to refined contemporary architecture and pure wild nature, the scene is bound to captivate both your senses and your tastebuds.

Some Scandinavian standouts:

H&M Home x Kelly Wearstler at Milan Design Week.

The much anticipated installation is set inside Palazzo Acerbi, a 17th-century baroque palace that has long been closed to the public.

It marks a double debut, with presenting at Milan Design Week for the first time and introducing its first designer-led furniture collection in collaboration with .

Moving through the space, objects are placed within a sequence of rooms, where furniture, lighting and sculptural pieces are shown as part of a lived environment rather than a static display, creating a contrast with the rich baroque architecture.

Set within the streets of Copenhagen, moves between fashion and space — where the identity of the brand extends beyond the objects themselves.

Designed by , the store unfolds as a series of quiet compositions. Warm-toned veneer, soft textiles, and considered proportions create a setting that feels more residential than retail.

Rather than competing for attention, each element is given room to exist — bags, jewellery, and objects placed with a sense of rhythm and restraint.

It’s a space that doesn’t try to define the experience, but subtly shapes it.

Set within the meadows of Ästad Vingård, is less a restaurant and more a carefully choreographed experience, where the journey begins before you even arrive.

A narrow path cuts through tall grasses, leading towards a glass structure sitting quietly in the landscape. Designed by the building reveals itself gradually — a greenhouse turned inside out, with its structure pulled inward leaving a slick blank glass canvas reflecting the natural surroundings.

Inside, the space opens up and then descends, grounding the experience while maintaining a constant connection to the shifting light and landscape beyond.

Everything here is considered as one — architecture, food, materials, sound, views. A tasting menu built around the immediate surroundings mirrors the same philosophy as the space itself: rooted, precise, and quietly immersive.

A shift is happening in Scandinavia — Design is moving closer to sculpture.

Less about form following function, more about form becoming the intention.

A subtle recalibration, but visible everywhere — From emerging makers to established brands.

The orangery, originally a glass structure for growing citrus trees, gets a new take by and , just outside Gothenburg.

The four-metre-high structure, set within a lush garden of wildflowers and trees, is developed by the owners in collaboration with . Built on a steel frame and clad in cedar, it creates a clear architectural contrast while at the same time blending into its natural surroundings, blurring the boundary between inside and out.

The kitchen, carefully designed by , combines soft oak, stainless steel details and handmade tiles, and is built to function almost like a small restaurant kitchen — compact, but fully equipped to host larger gatherings.

A place to gather, a place to cook, shaped by light, season and use /

Norway’s most remote island retreat is about to open its doors — Perched on the edge of Træna archipelago, the retreat is carefully designed with its natural surroundings and historic building traditions in mind, resulting in a quiet but deliberate contrast to the rugged coastal landscape. With 38 rooms, Arctic wellness, and high-end dining focused on local seafood, Ytri is set to offer something very special to the hospitality scene in Norway.
