β‘π Ongoing UAV LiDAR Survey for Hydropower Development | Humla & Bajura, Nepal πβ‘
Our team at Geotech Engineering Space is currently mobilized in the remote districts of Humla and Bajura, carrying out a comprehensive UAV-based LiDAR and topographic survey to support the planning and design of hydropower infrastructure.
Working in challenging Himalayan terrain, our engineers and surveyors are spending over a month in the field, combining advanced geospatial technologies with extensive ground surveys to deliver accurate, high-quality spatial data for sustainable infrastructure development.
Project Activities:
π Establishment of DGPS control points, benchmarks, and Ground Control Points (GCPs) for precise georeferencing
π UAV-based LiDAR scanning and aerial photography across the project corridor
π°οΈ Topographic surveying and field data acquisition
πΊοΈ Generation of high-resolution orthomosaic, DTM, DSM, and Contour Maps
π Identification and assessment of potential bridge crossing locations to support engineering design
From remote mountain camps to complex field operations, our team remains committed to delivering reliable geospatial solutions that contribute to Nepal's clean energy future.
πΈ Here are some glimpses of our dedicated field team and ongoing survey activities.
