Our Vision Systems team has well and truly got behind our Blue September challenge, with almost 17,000 push-ups completed between the team so far.
We originally set ourselves the goal of 739 push-ups a day, but apparently a few people have decided that's more of a minimum than a target!

There's still plenty of September (and plenty of push-ups) to go, so if you'd like to give the team a bit of extra motivation and support the Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand at the same time, we'd really appreciate it.

Registered electricians, 56,692 commercial jobs since 2007, offices in Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland. Fit-outs, switchboard upgrades, compliance, emergency lighting, and the ongoing maintenance that keeps a building out of trouble.

New Zealand's first 5 Green Star hotel needed someone to run everything behind its walls. That was us.

The Hotel Britomart is 104 rooms of handmade brick and salvaged timber in the heart of Auckland's waterfront, and every technological component in the building runs on a network we designed and built. Eighteen months of work: full fibre backbone, structured data cabling, and integration with the phone systems, television, building management, lighting, blinds and room controls.

The security side tells you what kind of build this was. Over 140 Salto smart locks integrated directly with the hotel management system. Over 40 back of house doors on Protege GX. More than 30 Axis cameras giving operators a complete view of the entire site. And because this is a 5 Green Star build, guests open their rooms with authentic wooden access cards. Even the cable drums were audited to be made from recycled wood. Sustainability at that level isn't a sticker on the door, it's in the spec of every component, and we were meticulous about meeting it.

The bit we're proudest of isn't in the spec sheet though. Our electricians, security techs and data crew delivered this as one team, planned alongside every other trade on site, and the client's verdict says it best. Campbell Williamson, Development Director at The Hotel Britomart: "We have for some years now looked only to Vision for their works on our projects." Asked if he'd recommend us: "Yes, without hesitation."

That's every job we've completed since 2007. Every commercial fitout, every camera, every cable run, every 2am fault call. Works out to about eight jobs every working day, for nineteen years.

Somewhere in that number is New Zealand's first 5 Green Star hotel, The Hotel Britomart, where our team ran 18 months of data, security and fibre through a landmark build. Somewhere in there is a locked-out property manager we answered at 2am, because the 24/7 line isn't a marketing line. Someone actually picks up. And somewhere in there are thousands of small jobs nobody will ever write a case study about, done properly, because that's the whole point.

A few numbers we're just as proud of: our customers rate us at an NPS of 62. Our own team rates working here at 51. There's more than 600 years of combined industry experience across the crew, delivering projects in six countries, and we hold Sitewise Gold for safety, because safety is a choice we make.

One of our values is "1% better each day." Nineteen years of that adds up.
