Orchards in the Central Otago region are preparing for another huge harvest!!
Cherries, apricots, nectarines, peaches, blueberries, apples, grapes... its all on!
Demand is high for workers of a variety of skill sets. We currently have job placements open for tree training, thinning, supervision, quality controllers, spraying, tractor drivers, packhouse staff, greenhouse workers. We will soon have picking and store front/retail roles opening up. Contract/piece rate work available at attractive rates!!
We understand that earning that solid paycheck is a big, if not the biggest driver of workers joining horticulture at this time of the year. For that reason Hortxp offers our workers hourly top ups on pay rates for every hour worked with us.
We have also noticed that payment rates vary depending on orchard/farm, and workers cant always find the best deals. That's when HORTxp will come in to negotiate a good deal on your behalf.
