While the day started off with thick fog and a chilly -5 in Alexandra,Ian’s off working in beautiful clear skies over in Queenstown right on the waterfront of Lake Wakatipu. It’s been another busy week in Queenstown!

A huge thank you for the overwhelming support on our last post! We loved reading all your comments and hearing what you thought of the new truck. The Powerstar is a solid workhorse and an absolute dream to operate.

This week has Ian up in Queenstown helping out one of our new clients - Queenstown Hardfill.

While navigating the hustle and bustle of Queenstown roads, he’s certainly not complaining about the office view, with the stunning Lake Wakatipu providing a spectacular backdrop.

While our page may have taken a bit of a back seat, we certainly haven’t slowed down behind the scenes. We’ve been busy helping local businesses and other contractors right across Central Otago — from the Ida Valley through to Queenstown.!

But to start - A reintroduction - Ian Clapperton is the driver behind the wheel of the Clapperton Contracting Iveco Powerstar, carting loads up to 11 tonne.

Based in Alexandra, we’re proud to continue supporting our local community and contractors with reliable, hard-working service wherever it’s needed.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us, recommended us, and kept us busy over the last while — we appreciate it more than you know. Here’s to another big year ahead!

Took a trip to the hills this week to pick up a Case tractor for . That’s Macraes mine in the background—the landscape is incredible! Transported it back to Poolburn for another happy customer.

Have had some time in the country the past few days. A nice change to be driving a tractor while the weather is good.
