This was a challenge..had to call on my fibrous plaster skills..the curves were pre made fibrous columns that were installed by the builder (Hoogervorst)and because of the tight curves i had to form the tops by hand..beads just wouldn’t have worked…the builders did a really good job of the install to get it close…pretty happy with the outcome.

Client-BD construction,nice little renovation completed ready for the painters,great to see builder /customer opting to replace original features…the mitres have all been balanced as they should on an ornate cornice.

JD Decorating recommended me for this fibrous plaster cornice job..also had to replace the caps on the archway and do a general repair on the archway itself. The cornice in both the hallway and lounge were as close to the original as the home owner could get,it projected 400mm but doesn’t look that big as the ceiling is well over 3m high.Its turned out really well it was a challenge at times because the ceilings are original but was an absolute pleasure,especially when you see it finished.
