This Pin Oak was starting to out grow its space but our client wanted to keep the tree.
This was a prime candidate for a full reduction.
When reducing a tree its more then “taking the top out”
We aim to reduce the canopy while keeping the structual integrity of the tree.
Correct finishing cuts help reduce regrowth and allows the tree to seal over quicker.
While reducing the canopy it gives us an opportunity to shape the tree as needed and the before and after photos speak for them self.

Not often we come across Ash of this calibre! This is why we push for milling on our removals.
Watch the colour darken as the water reveals the grain, this effect helps show what colours pop in the wood when varnish is added to the end result.

Stump grinder before and after!
These roots made the whole lawn uneven and the roots had started to damage the section.
Our grinder made short work of the stump and roots so a new lawn could be laid and new trees planted.

🚨Split tree removal🚨
The team got called to check out this split multileaded tree and after seeing it the team dropped tools and got there asap to make it safe.

This tree was located in a back yard where 3 young kids would play.
If this tree was left it would have fallen to bits in the spring winds.

This is a reminder to get the professionals in to check your trees after strong winds and it also highlights the importance of pruning while trees are young, this could have been avoided with a single handsaw cut when it was a sapling.

It’s not often that we get to max out the 60” bar on the mill!

This douglas fir log was so big we had to cut the sides off just so it could fit in the mill. 🪵

This log was far too good to be cut into firewood and Seth already has some ideas on what to make with the slabs… watch this space 👀😉

Before & After 🦫

On this job the the lads were asked to clean up after a tree topper had been and remove a section of the poplar hedge.
The photos speak for themselves!
With an awesome crew and our 12” doing the hard work the lads had it sorted in no time, and how good does the chipper look doing it!
Needless to say there were a few truck loads of mulch for the client!
