Look at the before and after photos of this stunning modernisation of a 1950's Ashburton house where we designed the two structural beams placed above the ceiling to allow the two existing load bearing walls with arched openings to be removed to create an open plan kitchen-dining- living room. The result is stunning and a credit to the workmanship of Rive Construction. All achieved under a Building Consent Exemption that we are experienced in getting for our Clients.

Photos of my recent trip to the Deepstream Hydro Intake,part of the Contact Energy Waipori Hydro Scheme, north-west of Dunedin, to survey for the design of some new Steel/ Aluminium walkways over the intake pipes to improve the safety of maintenance/ monitoring personnel. One of the pipes is through a narrow rocky stream gorge, so will be a challenging install. Its a stunning location with high tussock lands and schist outcrops with deep gorges cut into it.
