250m² Reclad has now kicked into gear (without a shrink wrap...)
This house basically had no flashings. She was a full leaker.
The previous owner took it apon himself to relcad from a direct fix plaster cladding system (already notorious for leaking) to a cavity board and batten system... using untreated ply.
My god, you have to be pretty spesh to make a leaky home worse.
Now that all the roof flashings have been replaced, and fascias up where we can, the house now sits at 90% water-tight.
One of the first major water ingress areas to fix had been the membrane deck off the master bedroom, on the third level. With a new membrane down, were now watertight in this section, and can repair the damage to the bedroom directly beneath it.
There is still so much work to get through. Outside and in.
