Keeping Motion moving ⚡️

Our Team has been busy working at Motion’s new East Tamaki Distribution Centre, carrying out the electrical and data fit-out for the new site.

The works include cable tray installation, fibre and Cat 6 data cabling, power and charging stations, lighting and emergency lighting, and the electrical fit-out of the office spaces, all needed for the new facility.

We’re still busy on site, with more work to come as the fit-out progresses. ⚡️🔧

Most businesses don't think about their electrical systems until something goes wrong.

By then, you're dealing with unexpected downtime, a compliance headache, and a repair bill that wasn't in the budget.

The frustrating part? Most electrical faults don't appear out of nowhere. The warning signs are usually there, they just go undetected without a proper maintenance schedule in place.

If you're managing a commercial property or portfolio in Auckland, it's worth asking: when did your electrical systems last get a proper check?

We've put together a full breakdown of what commercial electrical maintenance actually involves and why it matters more than most people realise.
