Out with the old, in with total privacy. 🚪🤫 We wrapped up this much-needed door upgrade for a school principal. Designed specifically to maximize acoustic and visual privacy, ensuring confidential conversations stay behind closed doors.

Big crane, perfect landing. 🏗️🛠️

A lot of coordination goes into moving a house, starting from the ground up. With a freshly cured concrete slab ready and waiting, the team safely craned this home onto its new foundations. Swift, safe, and solid.

Fresh timber, crisp lines. 🏡✨

Out of sight often means out of mind—until water damage sets in. We recently ripped out a rotting barge and soffit, replacing them with clean, durable materials built to protect the home from the elements. It’s amazing how a crisp, solid roofline can instantly sharpen up the whole exterior!

A rotted bridge isn't just an eyesore—it's a safety hazard. We demoed the old crossing and built this solid wooden replacement from scratch. A perfect mix of durability and classic design to complement the stream below.

Our secret to a (slightly) fresher morning! 🏃‍♂️💨

As we enter our Winter months, I thought I'd share a pro tip with you all that I picked up while overseas:

Things get pretty busy in our household with a toddler, work and a building business to run, but Lüften is the one thing we never skip.

It’s the German tradition of "house burping" aimed at lowering humidity, preventing mold, and increasing oxygen levels. We open the house up wide for 10 minutes to let out the stale air and let in the fresh stuff. I love it because it refreshes the air that's been stuck overnight and Jono loves it because it protects the timber and structure of our own home from dampness.

If you see our windows wide open even when it’s brisk outside—now you know why!

Puppy-approved and parent-secured! 🐾
We recently wrapped up this custom wooden driveway gate, designed specifically to keep a curious new pup safe and sound. It’s amazing how a functional addition can also give the front of a home such a clean, polished look. Swipe to see the "Before" and the new, secure "After"!

We know that choosing a builder is a massive decision, so we don't take words like 'professional' and 'communication' lightly. Huge thanks to Ange & family for letting us start the foundations of their vision.
