OK so it's been a big development week for me, what we can now do, offer fast charging solutions for electric vehicles through EVNEX and NZ company based in Christchurch, truly competitive on pricing and leading the field in solar and limited load application. Ie the house electricity load is monitored, and you electric charger kicks in when there is capacity, including solar output. Design and install quality solar systems with 1% finance with most of the big banks, plus there is more coming.

1st step, complete, now to get a few jobs signed off and added to the high risk register. Electrical registration is changing, and all electricians will now have to have specific qualifications to design and install Solar equipment over 120v DC. I hope to have this done by Sept 2026 when my registration becomes due, the course was great run by some very clever people and very informative.

The satellite currently carrying New Zealand free-to-air TV broadcasts is near the end of its life and will be retired soon, so Freeview's satellite TV service needs to move to a replacement satellite in April 2025.These changes won't affect Freeview homes tuned in through UHF or the Freeview Stream...

Models that will no longer work!
As of 15th April 2025 the following models will no longer work with the new satellite.
S7070r, S7070, S7080, S9020DVD, S7010PVR, S7000, S7010
These models won’t pick up channels anymore and will need to be replaced.
