In Te Awamutu, our crew works below the street, connecting new watermains into the network while the neighbourhood carries on around them. It’s careful, precise work that most people will never see once the trench is closed.

In Taupō, our operator shapes the roads that families will drive home on for decades. Every pass helps set the levels the finished surface depends on.

Different projects, different crews, all with the same shared focus on getting the details right - because what sits underneath is what makes everything above it possible.

Camex Civil has been awarded the 26/27 Western Bay of Plenty District Council Planned Pavement Maintenance Contract.

Following the successful delivery of our first maintenance contract for the Western Bay, this next contract is a great reflection of the hard work, consistency, and commitment of our team in the Bay of Plenty.

Our crews have built strong relationships with Council and local communities, delivering quality pavement maintenance and repairs across the district. We’re proud to continue that work and contribute to a safe, reliable, and well-maintained roading network.

Last night, our team attended Waikato Tainui Puna Pakihi, connecting with pakihi from across the rohe and sharing more about opportunities to work together on current and future projects.

It was a valuable opportunity to meet pakihi from a range of industries, hear about what they do and learn more about the mahi happening across our region.

A huge thank you to Waikato Tainui for bringing everyone together and creating a space to connect, kōrero and collaborate.

He waka eke noa - we’re all in this together.

Our Taupō team are making great progress on the new roundabout at the intersection of Lake Terrace and Maunganamu Drive.

We’re delivering this project on behalf of developers Wharewaka East Ltd, improving connections between Nga Roto Estate and this important Taupō corridor.

Our scope of work includes earthworks, roundabout construction, drainage improvements, new kerb and channel, and new footpaths.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of November.

Work is well underway on the Hautapu Stormwater Basin & Allwill Drive Swales project, right here in our own backyard, with:
▪️ 2,015 staff hours on site
▪️ 950 machine hours
▪️ 45,000m³ of earth moved
▪️ 270m of drainage lines laid to date.

The project includes a 2.3-hectare, 4.5-metre deep stormwater basin, along with 380 metres of swales to help guide and filter stormwater into the basin.

There’s a lot of mahi going into shaping this important piece of infrastructure, which will help reduce flooding and support future growth in the Hautapu area.
