Some of the Goldfield team shown preparing to close the temporary roof at the crossing of Christchurch Cathedral. Also removing internal gables out of specially designed personnel cages. This work will allow the arches to be first supported and then deconstructed, a key piece of work in the stabilisation program.

A short video showing the Goldfield team deconstructing the south transept of Christchurch Cathedral. 350 tonnes of material removed with no manual handling injuries. One particular stage of this work was a finalist in the NZ Workplace Health & Safety Awards 2022 - category best collaboration between PCBUs.
