Baths, baths, baths. They come in all shapes and sizes, from back-to-wall and freestanding to compact options for tighter spaces.
But one thing that’s easy to overlook is that the overall size of a bath doesn’t necessarily tell you how much room you’ll actually have once you’re in it.
A 1700mm bath might sound generous, but depending on the shape, how much the ends slope in and the thickness of the bath itself, the usable space inside can vary quite a bit.
It’s why two baths with almost identical dimensions on paper can feel completely different in person.
So if you’re choosing a bath, especially if you’re someone who actually enjoys using it, it’s worth looking beyond the headline measurements and thinking about the internal length, depth and shape too.
