Dry-Sump installation guide.
When fitting a solid type sump pan it's very important the rail is flat and probably one of the most overlooked areas in my opinion. I recommend you dummy assemble the block and lightly surface or at least stone/sand rails to remove any high areas.
The pressure feed (front lower fitting) from the tank must be -16 with flooded suction eg. bottom of the tank higher than pressure feed fitting in the pump.
Pressure out of pump (top front fitting) -12 into filter into two coolers in parallel. Paralleled coolers work more efficiently as the oil is moving at 50% through the cores. From coolers into a manifold or junction feeding each plate separately either in -8 or -10. I also like to use an external regulator at the junction with a bypass return to tank. This reduces parasitic losses when chasing every ounce of power and hot pressure is also easier to adjust. That being said each one of my pumps is gear sized to your block needs so OEM gen3 will handle the oil volume.
Scavenge return (rear fitting closet to block) this can be either -12 or -16 back to tank. Some guys like to run a cooler on the line but please note with heavy weight oil below 40c a restrictive cooler can cause the return bypass to open if the pressure gets higher than 75lbs.
Tank size is 3 gallon minimum with good baffles to remove air from oil on its return.

Thought I would share some Porting tips I’ve learned over the years. I’m aware others may have different approaches/ideas to achieve similar results. Sorry for the cylinder head pics RotorHeads but trust me it’s still relevant.
Firstly, I never use sanding flapper wheels there for woodworking just like barrel sanders!
Working with Alloy, I use single cut burrs and I use a minimum of about five different shapes/OD’s on a port. I’ll do each section of all the ports/runners with each burr before swooping to a different one, always leaving to short side radius to last. (That’s the thin ware surface turn on a plate) this surface should always be the widest in the turn surface.
I’ve made several mandrels with different OD’s (basically a piece of solid round with a slot cut at the end) I then rap an old piece crank polishing belt around to the diameter needed. A crank polishing belt has its cutting edge strait access the belt giving an even finish. This gives an all important true/strait finish on the walls/roof/floor of the runners Using a fine burr I blend/shape were need and revisit with belt to mirror finish as it’s easier to the shape discrepancy’s.
Once I’m happy I use an old less aggressive burr running it as slow as possible and gently run it across the surfaces. (Don’t let it bounce) This gives the all important boundary layer. I’ve also used 60 grit finish but I think the burr is my choice.
One more thing, you want a slower grinder (less pressure) but one with good torque.

Oil regulator update time.
Well this has taken a longer to perfect just like everything other idea I have. Once we had the basic design sorted, the most difficult thing to achieve was controlling the large pressure differential between cold oil vs hot without affecting any else.

The bearing support is also adjustable once installed to self align to the crank centre line. No need to machine of-set or use underside dwells to get your after market cover to even fit with this product, simply fit cover and sleeve then tighten bolts.
High speed quality bearing fitted.
