Our clever owner and mastermind, Gareth, is always looking for ways to improve our products and create better solutions for our customers.
One idea was to develop our own window shroud as an additional offering, as they've become increasingly popular. Working alongside FMI Building Innovations, Gareth helped develop a custom bracket that is fitted to our frame during manufacture. Once the cladding is complete, the shroud is installed, creating a sleek, modern finish. We've now completed a couple of projects using this system, and the results look fantastic!
But he didn't stop there...
For projects requiring extra privacy, Gareth also explored the idea of incorporating fixed boxed-section louvres into the shroud. After some brainstorming and development, we now have another great option available that combines style with functionality.
And there's more!
For upstairs sliding doors where a Juliet balcony is required, Gareth wanted to find a more cost-effective solution. Once again, in partnership with FMI Building Innovations, an integrated glass barrier system was developed that fits directly into the structural frame of the sliding suite.
By utilising the existing mullions and jambs, the system eliminates the need for external mounting brackets, stub columns, or separate structural steelwork. The result is reduced costs, simpler installation, and a completely intact weather seal. Best of all, the system has a PS1 available, making it an excellent alternative to traditional Juliet balcony solutions.
