Scaffold down on another job. All of the left hand side and 80% of the right side were damaged and deconstructed after the earthquakes. It had been covered up ever since. Its been changed a bit from the original, however, we used a couple of the original stones and hand made all the rest at our workshop. Great to be given the chance to work on something like this. Job we're doing for christchurch city council. A military pillbox from ww2. Built around 1940 and covered over and turned in to a bench after war time. We had the task of removing the masonry and exposing the original structure. Lots of other work ongoing in the area too. Hopefully this can be repaired and kept.
