The most common question I get...and the answer depends...on the location, size and age of the shower. To give an idea though, a machine polish of the glass on a standard corner shower less than 10 years old in Christchurch should be around $160, assuming payment at time of service.

Every day I read suggestions on how to remove mineral staining and water spots from shower glass with household products...baking soda, lemon juice, vinegar etc. I was thinking of doing a video to test these suggestions out against each other.

A year ago, I got asked to price up a shower glass restoration job, and also a clean of the shower base and walls. The phrase "It's not actually that bad" was used too many times, so I asked for a photo. It must not have been "that bad" after all as I never heard back once I submitted my quote....

Yesterday, I did a job for a lovely lady. Or rather, I tried to...and failed. It happens every now and again, and it's frustrating to have to tell a customer that I can't restore the glass on their shower. Naturally, I don't charge in situations like this...but I also realised that I've never mentioned the ShineBrite guarantee before...if I can't restore your shower glass, there's no fee. Obviously some conditions apply (must be based in Christchurch, glass under 10 years old etc.) but it covers most situations!
