Haha a photo I've not shared before because look at us, it’s so cheesy!!
I did an AI course yesterday with the best accountant ever, Kerry Adams at Whutuporo Accountants and I've been reflecting on it since. The course was about AI and what low value tasks you can get it to do, outsourcing low value jobs, and about your high value team members.
Future of Work
1. AI Agents for Low Value Tasks
2. Outsource or VA (part time workers from home)
3. High Value Team Members (high value pay)
This was an interactive presentation with many business owners taking part and what I came away with was that "human facing" is what everyone is looking for. Not by the presenters, but the comments from the business owners in the running chat alongside, hmm.....
Overnight it got me thinking, the people I work with most or source work from are "human facing" as well. Someone who answer's their phone, when you can speak to a person, someone who will understand what you need and respond with a solution.
So while I'll be having a wee look a some low value responsibilities I do that an AI bot can help me with, Juice Electrical ltd will always be a human facing business full of those high value team members who love helping our customers find solutions.

Just a quick repair to some low-voltage cables that were rat chewed that Josh found and when they were replacing UV damage damaged cable ties a couple of weeks ago ☀️💚 🐀

Josh & Greg’s job this morning at one of my favourite stores ASKO on Moorhouse Ave. They replace 14 central panel lights with daylight panels, this looks a good!!

Waynes callout today in Rolleston. The strengthening works have been completed on the conduit job they prepared for 2 weeks ago. Some of the strengthening drilling has hit the fire alarm system causing this sludge to drain into these sockets. Waynes given them a big clean up, now just hoping they dry out and don’t need to be replaced…..bacause those sockets are spendy $$$$$$$

Interesting article this morning regarding solar pay back time. We have always advised our customers buy back might be 8-9 years. We’ve been installing solar for 3 years now and the feedback from our customers is their buyback is more like 5 years. We finding our customers are more likely to have awkward or need a bespoke design for their roofs. They also love that they have registered master electricians taking care of their installation. With low profile rails and pure black panels we are becoming well known for executing beautiful solar ☀️☀️☀️💛💛💛
