Meet Zoë Yule one of the newest members of the Austin Bluewater team!

💧Wastewater design and administration 💧

Originally from Scotland, Zoë has called Christchurch home for the past 3 and a half years and joined us the end of June.
🏊‍♀️ Outside of work Zoë is a keen swimmer
🛟 and also a lifeguard

🐾Fun fact 🐾

When Zoë isn’t working and saving lives, you’ll find her checking out new bars and restaurants, playing video games or out walking her Giant St Bernard; Billie - who keeps the office entertained with plenty of chaotic tails 🐶🤣

Zoë says she is looking forward to exploring more of beautiful New Zealand and continuing to develop her career in the wastewater industry.

Jamar Paringit

Originally from the Phillipines; Jamar has been living in New Zealand for the last few years and working for Austin Bluewater for 2 years.

⚾️ Fun facts ⚾️
Growing up Jamar enjoyed playing baseball and chess, he likes watching anime in his spare time and relaxing.

Jemar has said he’s very happy working for Austin Bluewater - enjoys the teams support and friendliness “especially alongside his handsome and beautiful workmates”

Today we had a special visit from the next generation.
Lew’s great grandson Ios visited the team today for cuddles and to see what his Great Grandad built. He even took the reins with Louie the Gorilla and sat in his great Grandads seat looking out the window at the tanks 🤗🩵 it’s the little things. Melissa

Glen Butler
Precast Technician

Glen has worked in the concrete Industry for 30 years, starting when he was just a young-In at 17.
Glen is always up for a practical joke and has been a valued member of the team for the past 3 years.

🛥️ Fun Facts 🛥️

When Glen isn’t at work, you’ll most likely find him heading to Kaikoura for a fish with his mates or a bit of boating. 🎣

He values spending time with his wife Tanz and his daughters Aubree and Shania. Tanz is an amazing cook which we can all vouch for when Glen brings in the treats 🧁

Glen also enjoys heading down south to see his Grandparents on the Farm where he grew up. Spinning yarns with his Grandad and reminiscing about the good old days.

Business Manager

Steve has been with Austin Bluewater since 2021 and spent the past 9 years within the On-Site Wastewater industry.
He holds a NZ Certificate in On-Site Wastewater design and brings a strong engineering back ground to the business.
From sales & system design to commercial and technical support, Steve enjoys helping clients find practical, effective wastewater solutions.

Steve’s engineering, technical expertise & practical approach make him a valued member of the team.
He’s also known round the office for his sense of humour

Kit out team leader.

Ethan joined Austin Bluewater in September 2025. Growing up with Lew as his Grandad, he’s been around the industry from an early age and brings a positive and get things done attitude to the work place.

He’s currently studying his Real Estate License, showing his drive to keep building his skills and future opportunities.

Beth Roche
Wastewater Designer

Beth has been part of the wastewater industry for 9 years, with Austin bluewater for 5, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to every project.

She holds a Certificate in On-site Wastewater Management Systems Design (Level 4, NZQF 4216) and specialises in designing wastewater systems for rural properties. Beth can also prepare PS1 design documentation and assist with consent applications when required.

We’re incredibly lucky to have Beth on our team. Her knowledge, positive attitude, and great sense of humour make her a pleasure to work with, and she always brings plenty of laughter to the office.

When she’s not working, Beth enjoys:
