Delighted to receive two more Elide Fire balls. One for my garage-home, and another for my plumbing van.

A couple of weeks ago I was first to a local house fire and used my van elide ball which slowed the fire from spreading, it was good to be able to have that as an option.

I’ll add a link to where I bought it from, and no, I’m not on commission with this company.

This hot water cylinder upgrade and repositioning to back on to the kitchen wall has provided our happy Parklands customer with only a several second response to the most used hot water tap in the house.
Over time there will be a saving to your power bill as you have far less electricity usage (Please note that I insulated the hot water pipes after this photo with Terra Lana wool, locally sourced and locally supported).

You can also try to blast some water into the shower drain itself, and in most cases this should be enough. If none of the above work then I am happy to help and I’m only a phone call away.

An oldie but a goodie. From Canary Wharf in London, I enjoyed 7 years working on high rise buildings early 2000. This particular building was a 17 month contract for Lehman Brothers. whom eventually went bankrupt some years later.

From foundations to final fit out, we even built the building around tracks for The Dockland Light Railway to pass through.

What to do when you need to replace your waste disposal unit however the waste pipe to it is glued in position? Well, cut out and start again.I lifted the old waste trap and fitted a new trap for the WDU. This should have been done on installation.
Problem solved.
