Another transformation wrapped up by the team at Walsh Painters 2.0 🎨🏡

This exterior was well overdue for some TLC, and the fresh coat has completely lifted the look of the property while helping protect it from the Canterbury weather 🌦️

From the weathered, tired finish to a much cleaner and brighter appearance, this one came up awesome. A lot of prep work went into this project to make sure the final result not only looks great now, but lasts for years to come 👌

Before, During, and After.

What a satisfying transformation this property has been from beginning to the end, two days out from putting the final touches on this lovely restored flat.

This space started life as an office and has now been converted into a clean, functional walk-in wardrobe.

We completed the plastering and painting to freshen everything up and bring the room together with a smooth, modern finish.

To top it off, we painted the new soft-closing barn door in white semi-gloss to match the rest of the trim and doors throughout the home. The walls were finished in Ōpononi Quarter, which gives the space a calm, warm feel without overpowering the room.

Simple changes like this can completely reshape how a space works day to day.

Another fence transformation completed for a new property owner who wanted a clean, modern look with a black stain finish.

Preparation is always a key part of achieving a quality result. This fence was thoroughly power washed to remove dust and surface contaminants, the sides of the house were carefully masked to prevent overspray, and drop sheets were placed to protect as much of the surrounding grass as possible. We also positioned a team member on the opposite side of the fence holding a protective sheet to ensure neighbouring properties stayed completely clear of overspray.

What an awesome day out at the local Farmers Market today! ☀️
The weather turned it on and the place was buzzing. There were plenty of honey stalls so no one missed out, and the strawberries were honestly some of the sweetest, juiciest we’ve ever tried. 🍓🍯
There was live music playing (we didn’t catch the lady’s name, but she was great), plus food stalls, animals for the kids, inflatables, and rides. It was one of those perfect community events where everyone just comes together and enjoys the day.
We’re lucky to have events like this in our community. Great to see so many locals out and about enjoying the sunshine!

Another tidy little transformation by Walsh Painters 2.0 🎨

This room had an old wallpapered feature wall that had seen better days. We stripped the wallpaper back, plastered and repaired the areas where the heat pump used to be, then finished it off with a fresh splash of colour to bring the space back to life.

Simple changes can make a huge difference to the feel of a room.
