That’s a wrap on training week!

A great week of learning, hard work, teamwork and a few good laughs along the way. Proud of the crew and everything we’ve achieved together.

Keep your eyes peeled, we’ve got plenty more photos from the week to share over the next couple of weeks.

AE Journal 001: Copper Flatlock Panel🏔️

Tucked under the hillside with a lake right out front, this outdoor living space was built around one material: copper and how it catches light as the day moves.
The kind of project where the small stuff (a panel joint, a corner) ends up being the whole point.

We’re incredibly proud of our Dunedin-based Heritage Team for being recognised as the Naylor Love Subcontractor of the Quarter for their commitment, consistent health & safety standards, and quality workmanship on the Dunedin Town Hall Restoration Project.

It’s been a privilege to play a part in restoring such an important piece of Dunedin’s heritage, and this recognition is a real reflection of the hard work and care the team puts into every detail.

A huge thanks to Naylor Love Dunedin for the recognition and what better way to celebrate than getting the team together for a well-earned meal!

Here’s to the people behind the work.

There’s a quiet confidence to Threepwood House 🪵

From the road it’s simple gable roofs but look closer and the seams run clean from roof to wall, no barge capping breaking things up. That finish doesn’t happen on site, it happens on paper. We worked through the joinery layout with the architect early using CAD software, so cladding sizes come out even and every vent and pe*******on sits centred, right down to the last panel.
