We brought the vision to life with our roofing and cladding, creating a seamless blend with the dark steel accents.

The result? A symphony of textures that culminates in a warm and inviting vaulted living space โ€“ a true modern masterpiece.

Super chuffed to see Alexandra Rock House took out the Southern NZIA Architecture prize ๐Ÿ†

The awards jury said the house is as stunning and unforgiving as the site itself. โ€œThe entire site has been stripped back to bare rock, revealing a backdrop akin to Palm Springs and its Modernist architecture, yet this is contemporary Alexandra.

We're sure you'd agree, it's a beauty!!

A huge congratulations to it was a pleasure to work on this outstanding project!

Dunedin RestoMod: A Roof Reborn! โœจ

This Dunedin family home got a major glow-up bringing it into the 21st century! We were thrilled to be part of its transformation, tackling the complex roof and window box cladding. ๏ธ

The original 1912 roof threw a curveball with its mix of valleys, dormers, gables, and tricky pitch changes. Due to this complexity and to stay true to the home's character, the design team followed a diamond roof profile, similar to the original design.

And the results? The new roof's sharp lines and diamond tiles perfectly complement the classic design, breathing new life into this historic home.

Dalefield Panoramic, inspired by the breathtaking backdrop that lies behind it.
For this one the zinc work around the eyebrows on the first-floor level, particularly around the balcony areas, presented many challenges. The finished product looks clean and sharp and the use of zinc, with its unique colouring, helps this modern house to blend into the surrounding, beautiful environment.
