Was quite the chore keeping these hard leaning pines out of the native forest but we managed it took just about every trick in the book and a few prayers but the native bush remained unharmed and native bush will be replacing the pines wich is great. Had the natives on one side and the road and power lines on the other did some math while having lunch one day and if I put each climb I did together on this job would have been around 470 meters the sky tower is about 350 for reference so quite a bit of climbing but at least had a few in the middle that wer quite nice to just drop saved a few of them for treat after a tricky one . Got them finished made this set of dogs from an old hand saw pretty happy with how they turned out a bit of kiwi ingenuity

Sometimes you have to make the parts you need. Making a set of dogs or felling spikes which helps aline your bar for making cuts and stops the saw from walking about in the cut

A bit of limbing from the other day this tree was the most rotten of the lot was pretty glad that wen I came down it didn't come as a surprise 🙃

This one had a pretty hard lean towards the garage so felt alot better about dropping the main stem with this top out good fun and awesome clients

Was pretty important that this one went side on to it's lean . The tree had a considerable amount of pencil rot so rigging options were extremely limited but another one down safe and sound

Removing a few poplar trees today they had become a hazard this one had a few hang ups looming over the dive and was rotting out and dropping limbs.
